Colorado and Utah are a photographer’s paradise.  The majestic Rocky Mountains offer the best in alpine environment photography that includes mining ruins, ghost towns and just spectacular mountain scenery.  The desert of southeast Utah offers the stunning and sometimes surreal art, ruins, and settings of the Anasazi and Fremont Indians, including the vistas of Canyonlands & Arches National Park, Edge of Cedars, Monument Valley and the San Rafael Swell.  Colorado’s National Forests and Rocky Mountain National Park offer grand vistas with a variety of life zones and snow-capped mountain ranges towering above 14,000 feet above sea level.  In 2012 we are adding the Everglades and the Florida Gulf Coast to our itenerary.  The abundance of birds, wildlife and the variety of landscapes will send every participant home with memory cards full!

Award Winning Boulder photographer Bob Maynard offers custom private and small group photo tours that are specifically planned to meet your wishes no matter where the location.  The photo tours are planned to provide quick access to the types of places and shots you are seeking and are planned with the knowledge of the areas to get you there in the right season, the right time of day and the right lighting.  You will get the individual instruction you need to go home with the best images of your life.  If you wish we can spend part of the photo workshop time doing lab work in Photoshop CS5.
